Holistic Pet Care
Caro vs. non-expensive food.?

I met a guy on the dog park that "claims" that met the inventor of Science Diet in a casual atmosphere. Says the inventor stated that the pet nutrition is overstated and that any professionally made dog food is fine for dogs. This seemed unlikely. For obvious reasons, was peculiar was going to say that even if you think it was true. But I was intrigued. Is it worth the additional expense? I want to get public opinion in general. Have you compared the dog foods and how they affected their health and welfare of dogs? What happened? I met another guy in the park, which in total disagreement. One of the dogs in their care (he was a professional dog walker) had the most brilliant coat I've seen. He said it was integral due to a special diet of the owners feed the dog? Hmmm …. What do you think?

I have always fed my dogs that was for sale, Gravy Train, Kibbles Bits' n, whatever, I ate. Three years ago, however, I was with a partner extremely overweight, and of course your diet and lack of exercise was the culprit. I could not run because he had a partially crippled hind leg, and so I had to rely on a change in your diet to help eliminate those extra kilos. Although I'm not the biggest fan of Science Diet, their prescription diets (I used R / d for my dog to help you lose weight) are wonderful if your dog has any medical problem. They really are helpful. However, its generic dog foods are widely available in pet stores are not up to my level. As So I asked the vets I worked with what they believe the best dog food is. While some of them really do feed their pets as Purina and Friskies food (literally junk food for their pets), the doctors that I have the utmost respect for dog food suggested strong gold. It is all natural, and as before mentioned in previous posts, maize is a main ingredient (which has in the past, caused skin diseases and allergies in many my pets). Although very expensive, I really think it's worth the money. My dogs are not the weights spiraling out of control, their coats are glamorous, and we have not experienced no change from medical issues diets. It's a dog food can read the label and actually know what everything is. The natural balance is also another wonderful dog food, and the varieties available in very greedy (or at least I think, my dogs seem to look forward to dinner more!). I animal diets are similar to humans when it is more natural and similar to what is the closest to our diet in the past better. Obviously, dogs do not eat corn, meat eaters and some fiber. Therefore, a dog food that incorporates this would be your best bet. Although I have seen some miracle from healthy domestic animals that survived the last 15 years on Puppy Chow.

Holistic Dog Care

Holistic Dog Care I received this letter recently:

Book suggestions for a good service dog?

I want to give someone a book on dog care and training as a gift. Just a new puppy, and the need for a reference to push in the right direction. They have already signed up for puppy classes, but I think a book is a good idea. I am an advocate of the premium grain-free diets / the positive reinforcement, and comprehensive care approaches. I would not feel comfortable giving a book that says "any food AAFCO is good "or" just ask your vet. "People who receive this book are educated adults and they deserve a book that will explain the dog care more detail, giving them solid information and a springboard for further learning. Any suggestions?

Sincerely, Dog Dummies
